Got myself another welder tonight. Its just like my last one that I never should have gotten rid of, but now Im back in business again. No more mooching MIG machines for me (until I need to weld some really heavy stuff) 8)

OH, you were the one that bought Steve's welder. Luckey punk! That was a really nice unit. I linked over to my dad about it, but mom got the email first and shut that down! Oh well. Congrats man. You ready to help me do my frame reinforcment now?

Yea, I know that feeling. I need get my front frame frails reinforced, I was acctually thinking of using Brents 220V Stick welder. I can get some really HOT welds with that thing, really good penetration. Are you going to cut your own plates for the frame reinforcment? I was looking at the ones that DO has. They're only about 80 something Bucks for the set. I don't think you could get material and cut them that clean for that kind of money. I would like to use your miller to weld those things on. And as always, you name the price! I'd be glad to pick up a spool of wire or some drinks of choice.

Yeah, I think for the money and the hassle the DO's are definately the way to go. Im going to order a set pretty soon so we can do them all at once. The front reinforcement we could do as well, but your right, this machine really doesnt have the heat for that a 220 stick would work better in that application. Let me know.

I still need to pick up some supplies that I no longer have, tips, gas, hood, and maybe some new gloves then Ill be ready.

Now if I could just get my donahoes fixed :?

Let me know when you order them, I may order mine at the same time, we can save on shipping or something.

Still no Hoe's? Whats up with them? Having a hard time finding parts?

They dont have shafts for the older SAW/ DR's anymore so they dont know what to do. They wanted to just change the seals but I told them they just did that and it lasted two weeks. Im waiting to hear back, Jeremy keeps promising me he'll call me back but then doesnt. I think the shafts are probably the same as the SAW 2.5, Camburg, and the dirtlogics, but what do I know. Hopefully they can get something to work or Ill be stuck with a set of lemon coilovers.
