Well I appreciate all that you guys have been doing for me. I've talked to a few of you and you know the situation. The short version for the rest of you is that work has been screwing around with me since last thursday. The guy that took over our dept about a month ago for some reason now wants me gone, (I'm hearing this through our schedule lady that I'm really close with). She has stuck her neck on the line to give me a heads up because she has so much respect for me and thinks that it is wrong in so many ways. She told me that I am her best guy and the only guy that she can trust to the job, do it right, and do it the first time. Its just so stupid and confusing to me. She asked him why he wants me gone, and he can't even give her a reason. The best she can get out of him is "just because". I've got homowners and supers at jobsites that wont deal with anyone but me. Supers that have literly kicked 3 people off there track and won't let anyone but me on it. I've spent 2 years building a reputation for myself, A good reputation, and 1 guy on a power happy trip can now ruin it all for me for absoulultly no reason. The best we can figure is that I'm the only one that can take his job away (cause I'm the only one qualified to do so) or the stress of taking over has got to him and he's losing his mind. The way this guy is acting, its a very real posibility. He literly went from telling me I'm the best guy he has to keep up what I'm doing, to wanting me fired in a matter of 2 weeks. Anyway, sorry to rant guys, I'm just really upset about this entire mess. I think for the next little bit anyway I'm OK, (again taken from my insider) so it is giving me a chance to find another job, hopefully out of this field all together. But I know God has a purpous, I just wish it would show itself, I'm a super impatient person. So I guess the prayer is to find a good job that I'll at least enjoy a little, where good work will be appreciated, and I won't have to work 11 hours a day for 6 days a week. (which is looking like a real possibility if I stay in this field).

Wow, sorry to hear that. Unfortunatly bosses can be like that. I know when my new boss came on board there was quite a bit of butting heads because he was trying to assert his authority (fortunately it all wasn't directed at me so he didn't fire me but he did fire someone else) but it sounds like it on a much bigger and more personal scale in your situation. Well, God has a purpose for everything, wether He's trying to teach you how to deal with pain in the rump people or He may be showing you this isn't where He wants you anymore, who knows. Just keep praying for guidance and we'll keep praying too (Right guys!) . Who knows, maybe there's a door opening to:
