Just a reminder, I know Ranger1 and Batman are already signed up. There's no designated campsite so this will truely be roughing it, although they plan on having a porta-potty or two. Cost is $30, and it's Nov 2-4.
Here's a link for the trails: http://www.4x4him.org/4x4him/index.php?topic=1203.0
The cost will include (will be used for):
1. Area to setup and camp. This is a non-refined area, it is not a campground and there are no services available. It is an open patch in the desert. We will bring out water, since we live within 20 minutes of the area. We also will have a generator there to run lights, music equip. etc. The generator will not run most of the time but if you need to use some electricity for charging or something, we can work with you but there is no electric source thru the night.
2. Port-o-potty. We will have at least one. The one last year was a nice unit (for a port-o-pooper) so we may go with the same people. If we have a lot show up we will get and extra unit, maybe two.
3. Saturday Evening meal: A few of the wives are going to make two forms of chili and some hot dogs. There will also be chips and possibly a bit more, I guess I should check with them on that!!! If you wish to bring a dish also, you may but it is not required. Bringing a desert might be good!!!
4. Saturday evening Praise and Worship band and a "church" service tentatively Pastored by the youth pastor of Skyline Fellowship
5. One Raffle ticket: Raffle prizes to be announced as they come in
6. The license we keep to allow the group to use the state trust land that we will be wheeling on.
7. Limited Emergency supplies.
8. Supplies needed for the event such as, but not limited to: raffle tickets, fuel and oil for generators, cleaning and cooking supplies and similar items necessary for the successful operation of the event. _________________ Mgyver1
